BLINDE
The Blinde eyewear collection is a favorite with fashion editors and stylists who strive to make a statement without being obvious. In a crowded marketplace of often-indistinguishable sunglasses, Blinde has a distinct edge. As a part of the Optical Shop International portfolio of brands, Blinde adheres to the OSI reputation of unparalleled quality. All Blinde frames are made from the highest quality zyl which is tumble polished for 72 hours to achieve maximum luster. The frames have core beta titanium in the temples for flexibility and comfort and the signature seven-barrel, six pin stainless steel hinge is one of the strongest and most durable in the industry.

Constantly influenced by his many interests, Rich Walker works with Troy Schmidt to create collections that continually evolve and stay on top of the fashion cognoscenti's list of “must haves”. Feminine shapes abound, including bold over size sunglasses in striking zyl and zyl/metal combinations as well as subtler wrap shapes that make their own statement. Ophthalmics include the geek chic styles for which Blinde is known. In 1998, Richard Walker was given the opportunity to design the sunglasses for the principal characters in “The Matrix”. Walker created the custom sunglass styles for the three leading actresses in “Charlies Angels” and the quintessential hero sunglass for Angelina Jolie in “Tomb Raider”. He returned to “The Matrix” as the sunglass designer for the sequel films “The Matrix Reloaded” and “Matrix Revolutions”. Walker's innovative approach to eyewear matches perfectly to Optical Shop International's company philosophy of remaining true to quality and aesthetic while providing an eyewear product that fulfills its purpose of being both functional and stylish. As an independently owned and operated company, OSI is able to provide the quality and reputation
